Last night the live semi-finals debuted on America’s Got Talent! Everyone was definitely in the zone last night, acts showed higher degrees of difficulty, more props, more lights, all around it was the best night of the season so far! Just over half of the acts who performed last night will go home on the results show tonight, and that means it’s come to the end of the line for a lot of the favourites on the show! The 11 acts to hit the stage last night included vocal talents from Heidi’s Golden Buzzer crooner Sal Valentinneti, Edgar, 13 year old opera star Laura Bretan, high school choir group Musicality, and the crowd favourite Grace Vanderwaal who stunned again with another original performance! Magicians Jon Dorenbos and Blake Vogt performed last night; Jon with a pretty amazing mentalist performance and somehow Blake managed to pull off an amazing disappear/reappear act that had him from one side of the theatre to the other in seconds! Lori Mae Hernandez also hit the stage and just like she always does she shocked the crowed with her quick wit, although her jokes started out a little flat which could cost her a spot in the finals. Variety acts last night included by far the performance of the night from Deadly Games, Tape Face who kind of fell flat with a fairly lackluster audience participation act, and dance group Malevo, who brought up the heat with flames and even danced in a pool of water for part of their performance!
