After over a month of audition episodes, the first round of America’s Got Talent finally wrapped up last night! You could definitely tell that last night was saved for some of the more unique acts as the judges put through some talents never before seen on the stage including Nick’s Golden Buzzer save of a 90-year-old striptease! Check out some of the highlights below!
Cutest Act – Usually I reserve this spot for a cute puppy act or something with little kids, but this 14-year-old baton twirler had the most adorable smile, not to mention he’s got a pretty incredible talent!
Weirdest Act – There were a few acts that could have gone in this slot, but the fact that this guy actually made it through is why I put it ahead of everyone else! Statistician by day, theremin rock star by night, this guy was like a real life Sheldon Cooper!
Acts to Watch – I only had a few favourites from last night’s episode, but they’re some good ones! Teacher turned singing superstar, 32-year-old Moya Angela had me with goosebumps through her entire performance of a Celine Dion classic. I would honestly put her right up there with Brian Justin Crum who tackled Queen last week! Next up The Outlawz dance group; I was actually surprised that Heidi and Mel weren’t sure about this act! Considering they just got started dancing last year I though they were phenomenal! Finally The Passing Zone; these guys were so entertaining to watch, and it definitely helped that they brought Howie up on stage! I’m so excited to see how some of these favourites along with my previous picks do in the weeks going forward!
